Lerika (Лерика Енгалычева, Russia)

    Lerika, real name Valeriia Engalycheva, was born on the 7th of April in 1999 in the Moravian city of Olomouc in the east of the Czech Republic. She now lives with her family in the town of Yubileinyi in Moscow Oblast, Russia. The young singer is now attending a middle school while taking singing and violin classes. Her dream is to study in The Russian University of Theatre Arts and become a famous singer.
    
    Lerika started to sing at four. Even in her kindergarten years she was characterized by her outstanding music skills. She often gave concerts to her family at home that became an important family tradition. Her hobbies are chess, reading and to be on holidays on the seaside and in the mountains.
    
    A popular face in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Lerika came sixth last year in Yerevan representing Moldova with No, No. Apart from that Lerika took part in a large number of prestigious international contests such as “Slaviс Bazaar” 2007, Festival “Orpheus in Italy” 2008, where she came first, and also in the “New Wave Junior 2009”.
    
    She already has an impressive list of collaborations with Russian pop stars: the girlband Ranetki and the rapper Timati, Polina Gagarina and the Ukrainian-Russian singer Vera Brezhneva.
