Tyriek Clement was born on 20th February 2002, he live in Hackney, London with his mum and
older brother. His dad was born in Trinidad and Tobago, and his mum was born in Huddersfield, and has Grenadian parentage. He discovered his love of music when he was 4. He remember his mum was watching a Motown DVD, which included The Jackson 5. This was the first time he saw a young Michael Jackson. He felt inspired and began to sing along to ABC. Music has always been there as an influence in his life. His musical influences are Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Sam Cooke, Bob Marley, Machel Montano, Leona Lewis, JLS, Wretch 32 and Bruno Mars. His first performance was at a talent show in primary school when he was 6. He won best vocalist and was awarded a certificate. He have gone on to win best vocalist 2 more times. The organiser of the talent show noticed his singing talent, and recommended he develop his talent further through vocal lessons with Freddy Macha. His mum agreed to weekly lessons. At present he's learning to play the guitar and ukulele. He have achieved the qualification, AQA (Assessment and Qualifications Alliance) in Singing (unit 1) he auditioned for the talent show, Talent of London which was launched by Dorothy Mdoe to find the best talent in London, 1000's of people applied. He was the youngest to make it through to the last 17 finalists, and performed at Proud in Camden. He also enjoy modeling, MKvibe arranged a photo shoot for him. It was so much fun. He made outfit changes. The photo shoot captured his style, from casual, to smart casual. He was shown all the pictures, and he loved them. He enjoyed playing with a blue balloon, and even got to keep it afterwards. MKvibe also arranged for him to record his favourite song Billionaire. This was his first time recording a song. He wore headphones, and everything was adjusted to his height. At present he's signed to Babycamp Record label, and working on original music, he's also an actor, and have played leading roles in short films and featured in adverts, he's featured in the film 'Throw of a Dice' due for cinema which was released in 2012. He feel so blessed to be able to do what he love doing. His dream is to be a successful and respected recording artist and actor. To achieve this he know he have to work really hard, but this is his dream and he hope one day it will come true. He'd like to thank his mum and dad for supporting him, being by his side and believing in him. He'd like to thank Freddy Macha for supporting him, and developing his vocal techniques.
