    Sonam Wangchen is one of Bhutan's most celebrated young kids singers and songwriters. Born in February 2002 in Thimphu, Bhutan, the boy rose to historic national fame while still a child. He made headlines as Bhutan's first-ever UNICEF  National Youth Ambassador at just 16 years old. 🌍
    
    : Sonam was enamored with singing for as long as he can remember. He began writing his own original songs at the young age of 12. Breakthrough at 13: In 2015, when the teen was just 13 years old, Sonam released his breakthrough hit song “Choe Thom Da”.
    : As a kid, he chose to perform primarily in Dzongkha, Bhutan's national language.🎸
    
     This helped him build a deeply loyal fanbase among Bhutan's youth. : He has continued his musical growth with viral modern tracks like "Phudosa" and "Choe lu ta dhi," even trending internationally on platforms like YouTube.
