    Ricky Lamar Hawk (born January 22, 1998), better known by his stage name Silentó, is an American rapper from Atlanta. He is currently a senior at Redan High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia. He is best known for his debut single "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).
    His debut single "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" was released on his YouTube channel on January 26, 2015. Over the course of one week, the single, made with Bolo Da Producer, racked up over two-and-a-half million U.S. streams. In April 2015, he was signed to Capitol Records that released the track as a single with an accompanying music video. It has peaked at number 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100. On June 28, 2015 Silentó performed at the 2015 BET awards, alongside the cast of the show Black-ish.
