Reed Deming (United States)

    Boy | Pop
Reed (February 6, 1999) is a singer/musician from San Antonio, Texas. It could be said that Reed Deming has music in his DNA. Singing from a young age, his musical style can be described as pop or alternative pop/rock. Inspired by artists such as One Republic, Coldplay, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars and Paramore, he writes original songs with lyrical depth far beyond his years. Reed also plays guitar and saxophone, dances, and acts.

In addition, Reed has another unique gift – perfect pitch. Even his vocal coach Linda Septien, (who has worked with many famous pop artists such as Demi Lovato, Jessica Simpson, Selena Gomez, Nick Lachey and many others) was stunned when she discovered that Reed could hit any note she named. Reed would sing the note requested and she would play the note on the piano to confirm 100% accuracy every time! This was so amazing, that a pilot for a reality TV show about pop stars shot a segment with his vocal coach trying to outwit Reed with this game. She couldn't stump him.

In June 2011, Reed won Best Overall Performance at the Septien Entertainment Master's Class competition at the House of Blues in Dallas, Texas. At age 11, Reed was a finalist in Simon Fuller's Boy Band for the Next Generation nationwide search and a Kidz Bop nationwide talent search. In March of 2012, Reed signed with accomplished talent manager John Gomez (Silver Tongue Management) for exclusive worldwide management and representation. Gomez arranged to have Reed audition for The X Factor Season 2 in Austin, TX on May 24, 2012 and he received 4 YESSES from celebrity judges Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato. Reed went on to make Top 24 on The X Factor out of thousands, and was a Top 6 in the Teens Category on Britney Spear's team.

Reed is currently in the studio working on new material, and will be releasing his new single "Mercy on Me", along with a Limited Edition Package (t-shirt + wristband + digital download) for the month of February 2013. “Reed's a bona fide triple threat, and this is just the beginning for this talented young man, who I believe will have a lifelong career.” says manager John Gomez.
