Ilya Volkov was born on April 19, 2002 in Minsk and currently lives in Kolodishchi village in Minsk region.
Currently Ilya is studying at the college of arts named after I.Akhremchik and in Studio "Golden Voices" at the Art-group "Belarusy". For Eurovision he workes with vocal coach Olga Vronskaya (also worked with Aelxey Zhigalkovich).
He has already taken part in several music competitions - The open national contest "New Movement" (1st place), the International Competition "European Cup" (2nd place), "New Wave Junior" (semi-final).
Besides singing he is practicing sport and ballroom dancing. Last year as dancer already took part in Junior Eurovision 2012. He says that this experience helped him to study competition and understand how to become it's participant. "Everyone says, it's a very serious contest, but I just like to sing, to perform for the public". He loves JESC as it gives him opportunity to find new friends and have fun.
His music idols are Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Dima Bilan, and he dreams to win Eurovision as his idol. He likes practicing sports and spending time with friends. His favourite subjects are mathematics and Belarusian language and literature. He is an excellent pupil.
