DeProfunditos Children's Choir,
In the Country of Murga, Milonga, Candombe and Tango, the De Profundis Vocal and Instrumental Ensemble is one of Uruguay's most prestigious musical groups, specializing in European and Latin American Baroque music and it has the youth version Deprofunditos children's choir, young kids/teens, boys and girls, sing in group.🌍
Led by Cristina García Banegas and Prof. Luciano Payret, they are the resident children's choir at the MAPI (Museum of Pre-Columbian and Indigenous Art). They often engage in pedagogical activities, such as the "Orgel Kids" project, where children learn how musical pipe organs work by assembling a miniature version.
The MAPI Museum YouTube Channel features recordings of De Profunditos performances, including traditional Quechua hymn "Hanac Pachap Cussicuinin".
