The Cantilon Choirs were founded in 1999 by Artistic Director, Heather Johnson. The original small choir group of young kids/teens from St. Albert, Alberta has expanded to include five levels of choirs for all ages boys/girls -- KinderSingers (ages 4-6), Primary Choirs (ages 6-9), Children's Choir (ages 10-14), Chamber Choir (ages 12-19) and Belle Canto (female voices).🌍
From their inception, the choirs have consistently been awarded superior standings in local, provincial, national and international competitions and have received numerous awards of excellence and achievement. The Cantilon Choirs provide unique and rewarding performance opportunities while promoting and supporting the development of community and integrity - both musical and personal - through these experiences in Edmonton.
