Belinda Peregrín Schüll,known as Belinda (Madrid, August 15, 1989) is a Spanish singer and actress, naturalized Mexican.
She began acting as a child, when she was just ten years old, in television show roles. In 2002 he signed with BMG and two years later he released his debut album, Belinda. During her first decade in the Mexican pop industry, Belinda became a prominent figure in Latin pop music and popular culture, with a highly publicized personal life, which led to her being considered the princess of Latin pop.
In 2012 he collaborated with the Spanish Juan Magán for the song I'll wait for you, which was a great success in Spain. That same year, while planning his fourth studio album entitled "Catarsis", he released the single En el amor hay que perdonar, becoming the most requested single on the radio. At the end of 2012 he released the second single for the same album entitled "En la obscuridad".
In addition to her career as a singer and actress, she is a philanthropist who has contributed to various humanitarian and charitable causes. One of the main ones is the fight against childhood cancer. On various occasions he has visited children with cancer in different associations, where he has lived with them, interpreting songs and giving them gifts.
To date, he has sold around 1.5 million albums as a solo artist. Considered one of the best exponents of Latin pop, she has also won several awards throughout her career, including: TVyNovelas, Premios Oye !, MTV Latin America Awards, Premios Lo Nuestro, among others.
